1. Call for papers: Sustainability and Innovation: Comparative Law Perspectives (Salerno, maj 2022 r.)

W dniu 13 maja br. na Uniwersytecie w Salerno odbędzie się konferencja dla młodych naukowców pt. "Sustainability and Innovation: Comparative Law Perspectives".

Wystapienia mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących tematów:

1) Innovation:

• applications of digital technologies: blockchain, smart contracts, NFT, virtual currency, industry 4.0, etc.;
• artificial intelligence and liability;
• impact of technologies on the protection of privacy and other personality decision-making, on distortion and transparency, on the governance of Big Data and e-commerce;
• property, and on consumer protection;
• application of neuroscience to law, human genome editing practices, synthesis between man and machine conveyed in the notion of “technological singularity”;
• constraint produced by algorithmic systems on the theory of procedure (administrative, but also constitutional);
• influence exerted by digital platforms;
• challenges posed by the use of algorithmic tools in the making of both public and private decisions, including the use of predictive justice systems.

2) Sustainability:

• law and climate change (e.g. recourse to justice as a tool to contain climate change: so-called “climate litigation”);
• preparation of public policies and private practices capable of ensuring the well-being of individuals without sacrificing the interests of future generations;
• principle of intergenerational solidarity and challenges to constitutionalism; sustainable consumer behavior;
• food, law and the environment;
• influence of cultural aspects on the pursuit of sustainability objectives;

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt 500-700 słów) należy przesyłać do 9 kwietnia br.

Organizatorzy mogą pokryć koszty zakwaterowania w czasie konferencji.

Planowana jest publikacja pokonferencyjna.

2. Call for papers: Crossroads - The never ending EU Crises and the COVID-19 Pandemic Outbreak (Piza, maj 2022 r.)

Do 11 kwietnia br. można przesyłać zgłoszenia na Seasonal School pt. "Crossroads - The never ending EU Crises and the COVID-19 Pandemic Outbreak".

Zajęcia odbędą się w dniach 23-27 maja br. w Pizie.
