2. Call for papers: International Review of the Red Cross

Redakcja International Review of the Red Cross zaprasza do przesyłania zgłoszeń do kolejnego numeru czasopisma, którego tematem przewodnim będzie "Before War: Prepare to Comply with International Humanitarian Law".

Artykuły mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących zagadnień:

• Persons deprived of liberty;

• Processes to record and provide information on separated family members, people missing or dead;

• Protection and management of the dead;

• Administration of occupied territory;

• Conduct of hostilities, including civilian harm mitigation, in various domains of warfare (land, sea, air, space and cyber);

• Means and methods of warfare;

• Care for the wounded, sick and shipwrecked;

• Protection of the medical mission;

• Measures to comply with "active" and "passive" precautions under the rules regulating the conduct of hostilities;

• Humanitarian access and relief;

• Civil defence and other civilian protection actors;

• Mass displacement of civilians;

• Humanitarian implications of “total defence” strategies;

• Dissemination of knowledge of IHL among military and civilian audiences; and

• Conflict-prevention; de-escalation and confidence-building measures.

Osoby zainteresowane publikacją powinny przesłać abstrakt proponowanego artykułu (do 500 słów) do 1 grudnia br.

3. Call for papers: Positive Obligations and Discrimination in the Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights (Lund, czerwiec 2026 r.)

W dniach 4-5 czerwca 2026 r. w Lund odbędą się warsztaty pt. "Positive Obligations and Discrimination in the Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights".
