1. Call for papers: Choosing the Bench: Selection and Standards in International Adjudication (Utrecht, wrzesień 2026 r.)
W dniu 9 września odbędzie się spotkanie eksperckie pt. "Choosing the Bench: Selection and Standards in International Adjudication".
Wystąpienia mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących tematów:
• Selection and election practices, including nomination procedures and advisory screening mechanisms
• Qualifications and professional backgrounds of international judges
• Ethics, conduct, and judicial independence
• Representation, diversity, and legitimacy in international adjudication
• Institutional design and possible reforms to appointment processes (i.e., formalization of definitions and/or standards applicable to conflicts of interest)
• Theoretical and interdisciplinary perspectives on international judging
• The ‘international’ in international judging
Zgłoszenia (abstrakt 300-500 słów wraz z notą biograficzną do 150 słów) należy przesyłać do 19 czerwca.
Planowana jest publikacja po spotkaniu.

2. Call for papers: International cooperation under the European Convention on Human Rights. Sources, limits, and enforceability of State obligations (Liverpool, październik 2026 r.)
W dniach 15-16 października br. w Liverpoolu odbędzie się konferencja pt. "International cooperation under the European Convention on Human Rights. Sources, limits, and enforceability of State obligations".
Wystąpienia mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących tematów:
- Convention rights in the fields of climate change
- refugee and immigration control
- criminal cooperation
- membership in the EU or other international organisations
- procedural duties to cooperate with the Court in terms of pending
- procedures or enforcement of judgments
Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 3 lipca br.
W ograniczonym zakresie Organizatorzy mogą pokryć koszty zakwaterowania i podróży.
Planowana jest publikacja pokonferencyjna.
