1. Call for papers: Challenges and Prospects for Upholding Minority and Indigenous Rights (Stirling, marzec 2025 r.)
W dniach 5-7 marca na Uniwersytecie w Stirling odbędzie się konferencja pt. "Challenges and Prospects for Upholding Minority and Indigenous Rights".
Wystąpienia mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących tematów:
• Self-determination
• Land rights
• Economic, social and cultural rights (including Linguistic rights)
• Civil and political rights (including Free speech, free expression, and/or freedom of association)
• Governance
• Artificial intelligence and other forms of technology
• Data sovereignty
• Traditional Knowledge Cultural heritage
• Citizenship and/or recognition and identity issues
Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 1 listopada.

2. Call for papers: Multilateralism and the making of international law: Marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction (Colchester, grudzień 2024 r.)
W dniu 4 grudnia br. University of Essex organizuje seminarium pt. "Multilateralism and the making of international law: Marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction".
Wydarzenie będzie koncentrowało się dookoła trzech tematów:

• first, the relationship between the BBNJ Agreement and other international treaties, relevant legal instruments and frameworks and relevant global, regional, subregional and sectoral bodies;
• secondly, the special circumstances of small island States and the recognition of traditional knowledge of indigenous peoples and local communities;
• thirdly, the general principles and approaches that guide States Parties to achieve the objectives of the BBNJ Agreement including the common heritage of humankind, the principle of equity and the fair and equitable sharing of benefits; and an integrated approach to Oceans governance.

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 400 słów wraz z CV) należy przesyłać do 13 października br.
Planowana jest publikacja pokonferencyjna.
