W dniach 23-24 maja br. na Uniwersytecie w Lejdzie odbędzie się interdyscyplinarne sympozjum pt. "Changing Approaches Towards Restitution and Return of Colonial Heritage".

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 300 słów i krótka nota biograficzna) należy przesyłać do 31 marca br.

2. Call for papers: From Protection to Coercion: the Limits of Positive Obligations in Human Rights Law (Lund, październik 2024 r.)

W dniach 3-4 października br. na Uniwersytecie w Lund odbędzie konferencja pt. "From Protection to Coercion: the Limits of Positive Obligations in Human Rights Law".

Wystąpienia powinny dotyczyć jednego z następujących tematów:

(1) the role of causation, 

(2) the role of the standard of reasonableness, 

(3) the logic of prevention versus the logic of precaution, 

(4) the distinction between the existence of obligations and the breach of these obligations; 

(5) correlativity between rights and obligations, and 

(6) context-related developments (e.g. WHO health regulation, addressing climate change through the imposition of positive obligations, online mis/disinformation and hate speech, and so on).

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 500 słów) należy przesyłać do 31 marca.

3. Call for papers: Journal of International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict

Redakcja Journal of International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict zaprasza do przesyłania zgłoszeń do kolejnego numeru czasopisma poświęconego tematyce "Businesses in International Humanitarian Law".

Artykuły mogą dotyczyć zwłaszcza następujących tematów:

• The regulation of businesses in the context of International Humanitarian Law; 
• The human rights obligations and responsibility of businesses during armed conflicts; 
• Due diligence in times of conflict; 
• The role of businesses in the protection of vulnerable persons; 
• Developments with regard to sports business and human rights;
