Redakcja Trade, Law and Development zaprasza do nadsyłania zgłoszeń do specjalnego numeru czasopisma (vol 14 issue 1), który dotyczyć będzie tematyki „Looking Ahead: Addressing the Challenges Faced by the International Trade Regime”.

2. Call for papers: Democracy and Information Warfare 2.0 – An International Law Perspective (Trewir, maj 2022 r.)

W dniach 19-20 maja 2022 r. w Trewirze odbędzie się konferencja pt. „Democracy and Information Warfare 2.0 – An International Law Perspective”. Więcej informacji na temat problematyki konferencji można znaleźć tutaj.

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt o objętości jednej strony i jednostronicowe CV) należy przesyłać do 17 stycznia 2022 r.

Organizatorzy pokrywają koszty zakwaterowania. Mogą również pokryć koszty podróży. 

Planowana jest publikacja pokonferencyjna.

3. Call for papers: Online International Conference “Communication, Conflict and Peace” (online, czerwiec 2022 r.)

Archbishop Desmond Tutu Centre for War and Peace Studies, działające przy Liverpool Hope University, organizuje w dniu 27 czerwca 2022 r. konferencję online pt. “Communication, Conflict and Peace”.

Tematy wystąpień, którymi zainteresowani są Organizatorzy to, m.in.:

· Dynamics of miscommunication, propaganda and persuasion

· Historical and contemporary perspectives

· The role of communication technologies, formats (speed, scope, use)

· The role of communication and media in prevention, management of conflict

· Communication, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law

· Public Diplomacy

· Documentation and representation of war, conflict and peace in a variety of formats including photography, film, radio, TV, magazines, social media, videogames, etc. 

· News media, journalism in conflict and peace

· The role of representation and language in conflict and peacebuilding

4. Call for papers: Federal Law Review

Redakcja Federal Law Review zaprasza do nadsyłania tekstów do specjalnego numeru pt. „Equality and Public Law”. Więcej informacji na temat potencjalnej problematyki tekstów można znaleźć tutaj. 

Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 15 lutego 2022 r.

5. Call for papers: The shared management of EU funds in comparative perspective (kwiecień 2022 r.)

W dniach 28-29 kwietnia 2022 r. odbędzie się w formacie hybrydowym konferencja pt. „The shared management of EU funds in comparative perspective”. 

Organizatorzy zainteresowani są wystąpieniami, które dotyczyć będą jednego z trzech następujących tematów:

• Socio-legal (including empirical) work at the domestic level: contributions focusing on one (or more) specific Member States that will explore national governance of EU funds

• Comparative contributions that seek to analyse or systematise different rules and decision-making procedures that apply across the different funding schemes

• Work that aims to shed light on accountability challenges in shared management – be they judicial or non-judicial.

Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 30 listopada.

Organizatorzy pokrywają koszty zakwaterowania i podróży tym, którzy fizycznie wezmą udział w konferencji.

6. Call for papers: Moving forward: Building societal resilience through law (grudzień 2021 r.)

W dniu 17 grudnia br. odbędzie się w modelu hybrydowym konferencja pt. „Moving forward: Building societal resilience through law”. Do udziału w niej zaproszeni są doktoranci i osoby posiadające już stopień doktora (postdocs).

Przykładowe tematy wystąpień to:

- Environmental challenges (low-carbon technologies, circular economy, sustainable development, trade, etc.);

- Digitalisation and innovation (smart contracts, blockchain, AI, etc.);

- Challenges of a transformative society (effects of other sciences on the law, transnational governance and governance reforms, international cooperation and solidarity, alternative forms of regulation);

- Welfare and healthcare; lessons learned after the COVID-19 crisis (data protection, vaccine patents, vaccination obligations etc.)

- Human rights and development, social justice and just transition as tools to build societal resilience, diversity and inclusivity

Zgłoszenia (abstrakt do 400 słów wraz z notką biograficzną do 150 słów) należy przesyłać do 19 listopada br.
