1. Conference of the Research Group on Institutions for Conflict Resolution "Courts as an Arena for Societal Change" (Lejda, lipiec 2022 r.)
W dniach 8-9 lipca br. odbędzie się po raz drugi Conference of the Research Group on Institutions for Conflict Resolution, w tym roku tematem przewodnim będzie "Courts as an Arena for Societal Change".

Opłata konferencyjna wynosi 150 euro/50 euro (dla doktorantów)/25 euro (dla studentów).

W dniach 25-26 kwietnia br. odbędą się, w formie hybrydowej, warsztaty "Thinking the Unthinkable: Beyond International Law’s Imaginaries".

Zaproszenie do udziału w warsztatach jest skierowane do osób, które uzyskały stopień doktora w ciągu ostatnich 5 lat.
Zgłoszenia należy przesyłać do 18 lutego br.
Organizatorzy mogą pokryć koszty podróży i zakwaterowania.

3. Call for papers: Italian Review of International and Comparative Law
Redakcja czasopisma Italian Review of International and Comparative Law zaprasza do przesyłania zgłoszeń do numeru 1/2023.
Tematem przewodnim będzie "The European Union and International Arbitration".
Teksty mogą dotyczyć m.in. następujących tematów:
– The influence of EU law on the concept of arbitrability.
– The exclusion of commercial arbitration from the Bruxelles I-bis Regulation.
– The legal consequences of Brexit on international arbitration in Europe.
– The circulation of judgments concerning international arbitration within the EU;
– The future evolution of isds in the EU.
– The regulation of international investments between the EU, its Member States and third countries.
– Treaty law issues concerning the validity and the effectiveness of intra-EU bilateral investment treaties (bit s) and the use of public international law by the CJEU.
– The fate of the 1994 Energy Charter Treaty.
– The application of EU law by international arbitrators.
– International investment law before EU Member States domestic courts.
– The enforcement of arbitral decisions concerning intra-EU bit s in EU and third countries.
– EU law as a form of public policy precluding the enforcement of arbitral decisions.
– The potential effects of the cjeu’s decisions concerning international commercial arbitration or isds.
Osoby zainteresowane publikacją powinny przesłać abstrakt proponowanego artykułu (do 1.000 słów) do 1 kwietnia br.
